I am getting an error in SecuRemote "the user is not defined properly"

Two things that could be causing this issue. Firstly you are using a DES version of the client and you've set up the user in the policy editor with a 3DES or AES algorithms.

Secondly your module license may not include encryption. A securemote license is not enough, you must have an encryption license (fm-u-3des). Get an eval from your reseller if you are not sure. rememeber to stop/start firewall-1.
