What is the Registry file on in checkpoint $CPDIR/registry ?

The registry file is used to hold checkpoint data such as SIC information as well as what products are installed etc. It replaces the old 4.1 product.conf file.

The current file is called HKLM_registry.data. There is another file called HKLM_registry.data.old which was created prior to the last change. (Its not a "last known good") file.

To view the registry file, use the command "ckp_regedit -p SOFTWARE"
