setdhcp
Configures the IP address range for the SecureRamp's DHCP server.
Syntax
setdhcp -a start_IP_address [-n number_of_addresses] [-f
freeup_flag] [-p preserve_flag]
Options
-a
|
Start IP address. The first address the SecureRamp can assign.
|
-n
|
Number of addresses in range. Must be greater than 0. The default is 1.
|
-f
|
Freeup flag. If given, SecureRamp frees up all DHCP entries.
|
-p
|
Preserve flag. If given, SecureRamp preserves the existing setting if it lies
within the given address range.
|
Notes
- SecureRamp always excludes its own local IP address (see
setlocalip) from the DHCP table being defined.
- When you place this command in a command file, you must specify the
-p parameter. Otherwise, the command execution may stop because of the prompt.
Example
setdhcp -a 205.15.3.1 -n 63
This command will configure the DHCP address range from 205.15.3.1 to 205.15.3.63.
