setcpfwpassword

Configures the password used to establish a secure channel between the SecureRamp and a management or logging server. You must also enter the IP address of the server the password is associated with.

Syntax

 setcpfwpassword -p password -a IP_address

Options

-p	Password agreed upon between the management or logging server and the SecureRamp.
-a	IP address of the Check Point server.

Example

 setcpfw_password -p ramp -a 200.200.200.2

This command sets the password of the management server with the IP address of 200.200.200.2 to ramp.

Note

• If management and logging are on different servers, you must set the password for each server separately. To set the passwords for additional servers, use this command again, but with different values.
