netupgrade

Upgrades the firmware of the SecureRamp using the specified file over the network. The machine containing the file must be running TFTP server.

Syntax

 netupgrade -f filename -a TFTP_server_IP_address

Options

-f	Name of the file containing the new firmware.
-a	Address of the TFTP server having the file.

Example

 netupgrade -f newcode.bin -a 129.1.1.20

This command will retrieve the new firmware from the file newcode.bin on the TFTP server 129.1.1.20.

Note

• This command runs in the background. Any errors generated during the actual upgrade operation will be displayed after the command ends.
