NAT-Enabled Static Routing

To use the CLI to set up the SecureRamp in NAT-Enabled Static Routing mode, follow these steps:

User name: wradmin
Password: trancell
NOTE: wradmin is the default user name and trancell is the default password of the SecureRamp. You can change the password at any time with the setwrpasswd command. You cannot change the user name.
  1. At the prompt, enter the following commands to set the SecureRamp to NAT-Enabled Static Routing mode:
NOTE: The options in commands are case sensitive.

 % enableipgateway -s on 

 % setdnsdefaultns -a -1 <first forwarder NS IP address> -2 

<second forwarder NS IP address>

 -e <1 - static NS, 0 - dynamic NS>

 -t <time out 0 - 100> 

 % setlocalip -n 2 -a <IP NAT address> -m <subnet mask>

 % saveconfig

Additional Information

In NAT-Enabled Static routing mode, the LAN IP address of the SecureRamp is 192.168.1.1, and the SecureRamp's DHCP server is enabled.

If you are setting up a network, the address range for the private LAN is 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254.

Network computers should be set to receive IP addresses dynamically.
